It reminded me of the scripture, "Delight yourself in the Lord, and He will give you the desires of your heart" (Psalm 37:4), because for the first time in my life I can actually claim this for myself this year. After many years of letting Him purge my heart of desires for so many other things along with Him, He is the only completely faithful One who will fulfill our desires. Well said, Shane! My human nature is to worry and let what life throws at me dominate my thoughts. It is also my human nature to screw things up, but it is just like you said, "Christ in me, and hope of what I do not yet see in me." This is amazing! Thank God that He can see and does know the plans for my life, further than what my tiny vision can fathom. I get caught up in the moment, and I take my eyes off of Him. At that moment I start to sink, but He reaches out and takes hold of me; I know then that all is going to be okay. At that moment, I take a deep breath and reset. This has been that reset for me.
